The Cancer Awareness Measure (CAM) tool was developed by the Department of Health to support PCTs to measure the knowledge, awareness and reported behaviours of local populations around cancer symptoms. UNI are working with NHS Sefton to support a range of screening activity. The work will involve engaging with local communities to gather insight to develop social advertising materials and recommended approaches. The work will cover cervical screening amongst young women, bowel cancer screening and diabetic retinopathy screening.
